Retreat Schedule

1. Thursday - Arrival

Share a meal, connect and get to know each other 

2. Friday - Program Begins

Meditation, Wisdom Sessions, Shabbat preparations, prayers & a festive meal.

3. Saturday - Shabbat Day

Meditate, pray, and study together. Connect with other like-minded seekers. Walk in nature. Celebrate the Shabbat. Share experiences, joys, and spiritual strivings.

4. Sunday - Departure 

Last dive inward in meditation. Some time to walk and reflect. last meal together. Closing circle and sharings. Thank yous and goodbyes. Head for home or onward on your journey.

 

Your Guide for the Retreat

Rabbi Yoel Glick, the director of Da'at Elyon, is a teacher of Jewish mysticism, one of the  pioneers of modern Jewish meditation, and a spiritual mentor who has been guiding seekers on the path for over thirty years. Rabbi Yoel teaches in synagogues, ashrams, monasteries, seminaries and interfaith institutions to students from a multitude of backgrounds across the globe.

Wisdom House

Wisdom House is located on 70 acres of rolling hills in Litchfield Connecticut. The grounds have a variety of outdoor spaces for contemplation and renewal, such as a labyrinth, Peace Garden, and other beautiful spots in nature.

The Labyrinth

Walking the labyrinth is an opportunity to take a break from one’s busy world, to move your body in silence, to reflect on your life in its pure essence as it interacts with the earth. There are no right ways to walk a labyrinth - each individual makes their own way.

Meditation Spaces

Find peace and calm on our screened-in porches. Let the soothing sounds of nature and breathtaking views create the perfect space for meditation and renewal. Let our guided group meditations vitalize your inner life.
