Course Description

In this series, we will look at the unique composition of the Soul of the Shekhinah and the special role it plays in our spiritual life and in the life of all of humankind.

Session One: The feminine Aspect of the Godhead in Judaism

The Shekhinah is the name given in Judaism to the feminine aspect of the Godhead. Though this aspect of the divine is less prominent in the outer forms of Judaism, it places a central role in the devotions of the mystical paths. In this session, we will begin our exploration into the role of the Shekinah in the teachings of the Kabbalah and Hasidism.

Session Two: The Shekhinah is the Ground of Being

The Shekhinah is the ground of being in which all else manifests. In this session, we explore Her role as the Holy Apple Orchard in which all souls are planted.

Session Three: A Different Kind of Soul

We think of the Shekhinah as an energy. We think of her as part of the Godhead. We think of Her as the ground of being. Yet, She is also a unique group soul in the higher worlds. In this session, we delve into the nature of that soul and its unique character and evolution.

Session Four: A Deeper Look

In this session, we will take a deeper look at the role of the Shekinah in the dynamics and evolution of both this earthly plane and the Kingdom of Heaven.

Course Format

Each session is 2 hours long and includes teaching, meditation, breakout groups, practical exercises, textual study, and Q&A.
