The Path to Self-Awareness
August 17 -- September 7
4 sessions
weekly sessions on Sundays at 7pm Israel / 12pm Eastern / 9am Pacific
Course Description
Â
Session One: The Garden of Eden
This session explores the mystical meaning of the Garden of Eden story in the Bible. We will delve into the lessons and insights that the garden story provides for today's seekers.
Session Two: Know Yourself
The first step in the process of self-transformation is to get to know yourself. This session looks at various tools that the tradition provides for seeing ourselves with clarity so that we can grow and change.
Session Three: Joining Thought to Action
The tradition tells us that the essence of spiritual development is to learn how to link thought and action. This is a good definition of the practice of mindfulness in thought, word, and deed. This is the next step in the process of our awakening to self-awareness.
Session Four: Awareness of Your Greater Self
There is also another dimension to this work of self-awareness—a shift in consciousness where we learn to be aware of not only ourselves, but all of Israel, and all of Humankind. This is the true 'Self-awareness' that we are striving toward. Â
Course Format
Each session is 2 hours long and includes teaching, meditation, breakout groups, practical exercises, textual study, and Q&A.
There will be recordings of each session available to the course participants.

What our students are saying
With all that is happening in the world, and all that is not, I find that skepticism takes hold of me over the course of my week. Then Sunday evening comes, I join your class, meditate and learn, and my faith in that which exists beyond this small realm of ours is renewed. What a blessing.
