Everyone is a Divine Spark
January 11 -- February 1
4 sessions
weekly sessions on Sundays at 7pm Israel / 12pm Eastern / 9am Pacific
Course Description
Session One: Seeing the Divine Spark in Others
Everyone is made in the divine image. This truth is often not easy to perceive. In this session, we learn how to see the divine in everyone that we meet.
Session Two: No Effort is Ever Wasted
In the last session, we learned different approaches to help us to see the divinity in others. However, there are times when our efforts to see another's divinity do not succeed. Yet they are not in vain. This session delves into the deeper effects of our efforts and their influence on ourselves and others.
Session Three: Seeing the Divine Spark in People on the Margins of Society
The Hasidic Masters saw the uplift of those on the margins of society as their special mission. They understood this work as a process of raising the sparks that have fallen into the deepest darkness. In this session, we will study the ways of the Rebbes and examine how we can emulate their example in our own lives.
Session Four: Repairing the Soul of Israel and Humanity
There is a broader dimension to the process of seeing the spark in others. When we see the spark in others, we not only help them and ourselves to move forward, we also raise the sparks of the Soul of Israel, and the Soul of all of Humankind.
Course Format
Each session is 2 hours long and includes teaching, meditation, breakout groups, practical exercises, textual study, and Q&A.
There will be recordings of each session available to the course participants.

What our students are saying
With all that is happening in the world, and all that is not, I find that skepticism takes hold of me over the course of my week. Then Sunday evening comes, I join your class, meditate and learn, and my faith in that which exists beyond this small realm of ours is renewed. What a blessing.
